Lawn Care
1. Water seeded areas daily. To reduce chance for disease, water in the morning. Make sure water penetrates soil to a depth of 1/4 - 1/2 inches. In hot, dry weather try to water twice a day.
2. For hydro seeded lawns, when you water, stay on the dry areas trying not to disturb the mulch mat.
3. You may start mowing your new lawn when most of the lawn has grown to a height of 3 inches. Set the mower high, and never cut off more than 1/3 of the over-all height of the lawn.
4. Do not apply any fertilizer or weed control products to your new lawn for at least one month. After that, fertilizers and weed control products are recommended for a lush, healthy lawn.
5. Watch for signs of discoloration which could indicate water problems or disease.

5. Trees/shrubs should not need any trimming in the first year after planting. After that, trim as needed.
6. Trees/shrubs may be fertilized as needed after they are approximately three months old.
7. In winter months, carefully protect new trees/shrubs from deer (if you have plantings susceptible to deer).
